I joined the Beachcomber Family March, 2014 as a Primary Therapist. I am very grateful and proud to now be the Clinical Director of our Fort Lauderdale office. I am from the Greater Philadelphia area and received a B.S. in Business Administration. I worked in financial services for several years before finding recovery for myself. Through my recovery, I discovered my greatest passion, helping others through their recovery journey. I went back to school and attained a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Addiction Studies, from Rosemont College. After graduating, I worked in the Philadelphia area with adolescents and young adults before returning to South Florida three years ago. I am passionate about my work and beyond grateful to work at such an amazing facility.
Growing up in the North East I was always so eager for the long summer nights, fly fishing on a river bank, spending time with family and friends and the long rides to the shore. Now that I am a Floridian and summer is upon us, the things I look forward to are the AC and timing how I am going to get from the door to the car, without getting soaking wet from our daily “afternoon showers.” Other then the long hot summers I love all that south Florida has to offer and am happy to call Florida my home.
I have had an amazing journey in recovery and through this work I hope to assist others in getting recovery and all the joys it brings.
